How to spend 3 days in San Diego: Part 2 – San Diego ZOO (Gallery)

We continued our adventure in San Diego with visiting the famous Zoo. Make sure to arrive early, as it get’s crowded. I also recommend purchasing tickets in advance – online. You will receive a map at the gates.

The Zoo is very large in size, so in order to enjoy all the animals, more than one day is needed. We managed to squeeze most of it in one day due to tight schedule. There is an option to use tour bus inside the zoo, which may be a good idea if you are not into long walks. Luckily there is enough shade to hide from the sun.

It was time for internship at the university, my second year living in Germany. I had never been to the capital before, so journey itself was very promising. It was supposed to be one day trip, I was planning on spending just a few hours in the city of my dreams, and my goal was to attend an interview for an intern position at one of Berlin’s youth hostels.

Let’s go to Saaremaa!

It was a rainy morning, when we finally reached Virtsu harbour on our way to Saaremaa island. There was an hour and half until our ferry, so we got ourselves hot coffee at a local cafe. It’s going to be an awesome weekend, I thought. Already it was starting out pretty well – almost no traffic, beautiful landscapes, nice smooth roads. Ferry ride to Muhu island was going to take about 30 minutes, price: 8,40€ for the car and 3€/person. In fact it was really quick ride, just enough to have a quick walk through the small vessel. They do offer some snacks, in case somebody is hungry.
